This young athlete maintains substantial online audience
The young golfer can count on multiple prominent supporters when she starts her professional golf debut this Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika tournament in Florida.
The former president, a passionate golfer, owns multiple golf courses and regularly competes against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."
"My grandpa essentially advised me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, making him somewhat preoccupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has played in just three tournaments this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
However she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He stands as the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.
"Furthermore, he's an even better individual. He told me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
Officials stated that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, particularly with the next generation.
Kai boasts a massive following and just introduced a personal fashion and living company.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
