Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window

An aircraft transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, according to an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The plane touched down based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This occurrence does not mark the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet carrying a senior official has suffered mechanical issues.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was required to return to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
